BIOCHAR

*BIochar is the solid remains of any organic material that has been heated (to at least 300-350C) in a zero oxygen or oxygen limited environment, which is intended to be mixed with soils for carbon storage and often also to improve soils. Biochar can be produced from different types of biomass sources but we use the willow.

We cooled the biochar with stood water and made the rookie error of just opening the drainage and poured 100 ltr of liquid gardeners gold (wood vinegar) out onto the surrounding muddy area.

It's now a thick grassy surrounding area so lesson learned we now know how to capture and use this across our grow space at the right dilutions.
